Visit of Uzbek Metrology Representatives to SMÚ
From March 31 to April 11, 2025, the Slovak Institute of Metrology (SMÚ) is hosting a delegation from the Uzbek National Institute of Metrology (UzNIM). On April 1, 2025, SMÚ also welcomed representatives from the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation (UZSTANDARD).
The visit, initiated by the Slovak Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMS SR), is a continuation of existing cooperation between SMÚ and UzNIM. In addition to strengthening current collaboration, the aim of the visit is to establish new avenues for collaboration between the Slovak and Uzbek sides, particularly through the exchange of professional expertise in the applied practice of scientific metrology at the expert level. SMÚ and UzNIM are currently working together as national metrology institutions on the development of reference standard equipment and joint projects aimed at enhancing measurement capabilities in both countries.
