Information Access at SMÚ
The Slovak Institute of Metrology (SMÚ) ensures access to information in accordance with Act No. 211/2000 Coll. on Free Access to Information and amendments to certain laws (Freedom of Information Act), as amended. SMÚ follows the provisions of this Act and administrative regulations when processing requests for information and deciding on appeals.
The Office of the Director General is responsible for receiving and processing requests for information, as well as performing other tasks related to Sections 14 to 21 of the Act.
Act No. 211/2000 Coll. on Free Access to Information
SMÚ complies with the provisions of this Act when granting public access to information.
Fee Schedule for Information Access
The following fees apply to material costs associated with providing information, in accordance with Section 21 (1) and (2) of Act No. 211/2000 Coll. and Decree No. 481/2000 Coll. of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic:
Reproduction Fees:
- €0.03 per page for A4 format (single-sided)
- €0.04 per A4 format double-sided page
- €0.06 per page for A3 format (single-sided)
- €0.08 per A3 format double-sided page
Electronic and Mailing Costs:
- €1.66 per CD-ROM
- €0.02 per A6 envelope
- €0.03 per A5 envelope
- €0.07 per A4 envelope
- Postal charges based on the current price list of postal services
Free Services:
- Information sent via email, fax, or telephone is provided free of charge.
- Information is provided free of charge if the total cost of preparation and delivery does not exceed €6.64.
- Applicants who submit a notarized copy of a disability card confirming visual or hearing impairment receive information free of charge, even if costs exceed €6.64.
