Slovak Institute of Metrology Participates in the 19th EURAMET General Assembly in Berlin

From 2 to 6 June 2025, representatives of the Slovak Institute of Metrology (SMU) took part in the 19th General Assembly of EURAMET, held in Berlin, Germany.

SMU delegates actively contributed to several expert sessions within the official programme, notably the meeting of the Partnership in Metrology Committee. This committee plays a vital role in the implementation of Horizon Europe, the European Commission’s flagship research and innovation programme for the period 2021–2027.

The event also featured a plenary session of the Research Council and a dedicated workshop titled “Emphasizing the Importance and Value of Metrology”. The workshop highlighted the essential role of metrological infrastructure in advancing scientific research, driving economic development, and supporting societal innovation.
