The 29th DUNAMET Meeting took place in Pezinok, Slovakia, on 29–30 September 2026, bringing together representatives of the Slovak Institute of Metrology (SMÚ) and national metrology institutes from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Austria and Croatia.

DUNAMET is an informal regional association of national metrology institutes that fosters cooperation among partner institutions through joint projects, comparisons of national measurement standards and the exchange of technical and scientific expertise. Its activities complement cooperation within European metrology structures.

The 2026 programme focused on current developments in metrology, cooperation among the participating institutes and the exchange of technical information. Delegates shared updates on DUNAMET projects and developments within their respective institutions, as well as recent activities of EURAMET and WELMEC.

Key topics included the European Partnership on Metrology (EPM), legal metrology and the implementation of security measures for networks and information systems within national metrology institutes. The exchange of experience highlighted common challenges and approaches across the participating countries.

The discussions also addressed the future priorities of DUNAMET and preparations for its 30th meeting, which will take place in 2027.
