SMU is not payer of VAT for its fundamental activities (metrological services). The whole area of MS in a price list is sorted according to the classification of the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic SR - KP 75.13.18.
The prices given in a price list represent the prices for metrological services carried out in the range given by respective technical regulations, Slovak technical standards or by an internal work procedures used for calibration of measuring instruments, tests carried out for type approval of the measuring instrument, metrological expertises and official measurement.
Technical regulations in metrology and methodology regulations in metrology are approved by the Slovak Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMS SR). The internal work procedures used for calibration of measuring instrument, for tests carried out for type approval of the measuring instrument, metrological expertises and official measurement are approved by SMU Director General.
The price for verification or calibration of a measuring instrument represents the price of a standard metrological service carried out in the range given by a respective metrological document. If metrological service is carried out in a wider range or at conditions different from that stated by a metrological document, the additional fee can be charged, reflecting the increased expenses. The additional fee is always charged after the consultation with the customer and it is based on an individual calculation.
The prices does not cover the further expenses connected with MS if carried out on site at the customer's location.
Orders - instructions
Dear customers, metrological services can be ordered by post, fax or e-mail.
When ordering verification / calibration of measuring instrument, one shall state:
- type of metrological service (calibration, verification)
- name of measuring instrument
- range of measuring instrument
- accuracy class or required uncertainty of calibration
- calibrated quantity
- number of measuring instruments
- customer information (trade name, address, registration number, phone contact, e-mail)
- non-standard metrological services must be specified in details (range of required calibrations, measurements, calibration uncertainty)
When ordering certified reference material, the customer shall state:
- name of the CRM
- required amount
- information on customer (trade name, address, registration number, phone contact, e-mail)
- type of delivery (personal, delivery service, cash on delivery)
